Ah, it has been a while! And finally i return for a while...
I've been mega busy recently! I have just ran for a position on York University Students' Union Executive Committee (the people who actually run the su) as LGBT officer. I spent basically 2 weeks mega campaigning, getting myself out there, covering my uni with posters getting people to vote for me!
Anyway, voting closed yesterday, and the results were announced last night! It was a 3 way contest (oh, and not to forget R.O.N.!) between us (me and my 'partner in crime', matthew) and two pairs of my friends! Well, the results came in, and by 20 or so votes out of about 800 votes me and matthew managed to win it!
So, basically, i'm now responsible for everything lgbt... at my university, and in a way also for alot of other things too, in running the students' union!
And, i also made the first trans lgbt officer at my uni... after also being the first trans rep the uni's lgbt had too... so yay!
Alot of work for me and matthew, but hopefully in a year when we pass it onto the next guys, it will be a true LGBT, and not an LGB (t) like most are at the moment.
Anyway, i need some time to relax, after all this. NUS next
Aimee (aka anje) x

Awesome! You seemed quite cynical about your chances when I asked you, but I'm really glad to see you won!

Hang on,
I ran for YUSU for president a year ago. You must know one of my best friends Grace Fletcher-Hall, whom I lived with for a year.

A chat last night went ok, we just chatted about randomness, which was cool, made her laugh, i hope she didnt cry, made me laugh too.

Yay , welcome back Aimee. The weather is really poor here in Bristol too and it was sunny all week whilst I was at work . _________________ Chrissy
