I've heard rumour that it can also, but have never actually seen or met anyone that has developed an Adam's Apple. My guess is that it would only happen in very young FTMs who haven't finished fully growing yet - in a similar way that young guys might gain height if they start T at an early enough age. I wouldn't build your hopes up though - I'd say it's extremely unlikely to happen I'm afraid.

One less place to cut yourself shaving. What a bummer!

Yes it can

Mind you I can't see mine. Dunno if it's too small or that I have too thick of a neck. There are definitely trans men with visible ones though

Mole's is definitely more prominent than before T. Surprised me because I didn't know T could do that. Actually it makes sense though, your voice deepens because your vocal cords and larynx grow. Bigger larynx forms the adam's apple. http://kidshealth.org/teen/sexual_health/guys/voice_changing.html
I guess some people just have a more prominent one than others.

Thanks guys and gals for the input

so its one of those, may or may not deals - thats fair enough!

It makes sense that one might appear as the reason your voice drops is because of changes in your vocal cords. My dads got a really deep voice so I hope I take after him!

A visible adam's apple is the result of voice breakage. Everyone has one, male or female, but usually only those with broken voices can be seen.

So if a person's voice breaks their adam's apple will be bigger. Whether or not it can be seen depends on the person's weight, body fat (or more specifically, neck fat) and things like that.

It has nothing to do with being transsexed or cissexed at all to be honest, only to do with puberty, and if you've been through male puberty, you've the same chances as every other man.
