Sorry, I couldnt resist that pun
How does somebody go about getting bilateral orchidemoy in the UK, whether privatly, or I dont know if the NHS would, but through them perhaps too?
Also wondering what's going to do me more damage. Me spending 5-6 years on anti-androgens awaiting SRS or 4-5 years with an orchi and probably losing a lot of the donor material. _________________ I look back at most of my life and think "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!??"

A close friend of mine had a bilateral orchi about five years before surgery, and surgery went ok for her. What she did was picked up a set of clamps and weights and used those to help stretch the material back out.
And surely staying tucked all the time would have a similar effect on the donor material? (if so, I'd better get a set of clamps myself, them :/)

if you wanted this done in the U.K. then you would need a psychiatric assessment.there is no surgeon that would do this without an assessment to see if you are of sound mind.

So, it can be done on the NHS then? That's handy. Ask my GP for ANOTHER psychiatric assessment and then it's up to the shrink or the GP to book something then?
I'm kinda becoming sick of bieng a slave to anti-androgens. Cant drink too much or eat a decent dinner in case you get a heart attack and then there's all the liver damage and all round bieng a pain in the butt. Not to mention that I'm spending a fortune on Anti-andros off internet pharmacies. I'd also be nice to know it's something permanent and I wont get any more tucking disasters when I leave my dose a bit too long in the day. _________________ I look back at most of my life and think "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!??"

i still think you will have to see a gender specialist psychiatrist in order to get approval for this.i take spironalactone and i have testosterone levels in the female range.i have taken androcur in the past and i just put on a lot of weight.

ack! I hope not. I'm waiting until 2010 to see a gender specialist. By then it'll only be another 2 years until I get my SRS refferal. :/ _________________ I look back at most of my life and think "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!??"

Like all such things, NHS support is dependant upon your PCT's policies Sadly these are likely to go the whole gender clinic route for orchi, too

an orchidectomy is removal of one or both testicles.
