Indeedy. I'm in the Southampton area, not far from Totton, if you know where that is.

lol no, I'm renowned amongst my friends for being on the unsociable side. Very Happy I have a feeling it's somewhat related to my trans issues, as I don't like to drink during daylight hours if I know I'm going out somewhere. Saves the whole toilet issue cropping up.
But that's probably TMI Shocked
I have a feeling I should probably try and make more of an effort to go out - my student days are numbered!

I can't remember how long I've been on the site. I joined before the old part got archived and we all had to re-register, so quite a while.

mate uve got 2 sort that out, u cant lose the main social years of ur life. not nec drinking, im not a big drinker myself, but going out and having a laugh regardless of where it is. im so new 2 all these issues, i cant really empathise yet, just sympathise. Ive recently had a knee op so have been using disabled toilets every where. i'm waiting 4 my GIC appt b4 i make any major changes tho.

i'd go 4 a beer/ coffee with ya, as long as there is no stairs, lol!

Yeah, I know I should sort it out Embarassed And when I said "drinking", I meant as in any liquid at all, not just limited to alcohol. I can only imagine the state of my kidneys after I've been drying them out for the past half a decade - they're probably bordering on dessicated!

Hmm, no stairs. I'm sure there must be plenty of places.

Good luck with getting your appointment, I know it's annoying having to wait for months on end for these things - or maybe I just have no patience! Very Happy

Completely unrelated question:

As in, Sara Douglass, or a completely unrelated coincidence?

DragonStar is an Icarii character in a Sara Douglass novel, or, should I say, a trilogy: The Wayfarer Redemption. It's a brilliant fantasy novel. If you're into fantasy I would highly recommend it.
