For quite some time now ive always worn dark tops with lighter colored (im using the Americanised version of colour to stop firefox moaning at me, hehe) skirts/trousers/jeans in an attempt to balance out my horrible wide shoulders.

But, am I doing the right thing?

Wearing a dark top makes my lower half look a bit more in proportion but it also makes my huge arms/shoulders look even bigger!!! omg... Paint me green and call me Bruce Banner!

Im getting desperate now, ive read all the style tips i could find online but none of them really cater for the shapeless unfortunates like me.....

Long sleeves?

I've given up caring to be honest now that I've lost weight and my armsize has died. If you notice, catwalk models generally have large shoulders too. I think they help you carry off some clothes better.
