Now, when you say "the ring" do you mean the Japanese version or the American remake? I have to confess to having really enjoyed both. |
pretty much both, I've also found out that Sadako was originaly a transexsual or Intersexed character in the novel, she was murded and raped by her boyfriend when he discoved she was not fully female in the novel version which was how she became a vengeful ghost.
As I know in the story Sadako was born as both male and female and the doctor used some kind of experiment when the mother gave birth and was also psychic which is how alot of weird things occured between the mother and Sadako.
the best way to understand this is to watch Ringu 0 the begining, although Sadako isn't Transgended in the movie only in the novel. _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.

Whoah, I had never seen that aspect of the film before. I had no idea there was a novel, or that Sadako was intersexed, or anything (although it totally works for the Hollywood remake). I have seen Ring O, but as you say, there was nothing trans in that. Deffo. weird parent/daughter stuff, but not gendered, I didn't think.
How do you know all this about the novel? Do you read Japanese?

There is a english translated version of the novel that was printed I'm not sure what year it was done.
But I've checked the outline of the story and it did say Sadako was intersexed in the story although it was from the wikipeidia page.
I know abit of japanese and speaking the language but not enough to understand to read the text to translate only my old friend knows how to do that.
But i'll have to put the film I want to make on hold until I can get a camera and see if I can budget for it too. _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.

What kind of cam do you want? Isn't 'low-tech' the new 'high-tech'? _________________ "I am wondering

I'll need a digital cam recorder to plug into my pc and use the windows movie maker to add in screen effects and stuff makes things abit easy for me to edit scenes and put the movie together. _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.

Well, ever since Blair Witch, there is a precedent for low-quality recording to heighten fear. You could probably do it best with a really old cam-corder... _________________ "I am wondering

It might be easier for me to use a cam that uses USB connection which my PC has, I wouldn't get too overboard with this project what I'm doing it's mostly a one person movie playing two characters and video tape editing is pretty time consuming and I don't have the ability to put tape onto PC format, most youtube clips nowadays use digital cams to speed up editing and makes things easier to upload onto the internet.
I'll be renting a cam not buying one, so when I have time on my hands I'll goto a electrical rental shop and ask about it and how much it will cost to rent a digital camera for a few days. _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.

I bet you could buy a used cam corder for less than renting...and low pixel quality could actually help you...lol... _________________ "I am wondering

I've enjoyed playing the new starwars game the foce unleashed, plenty of things to do in the game and explore different planets, has a pretty good storyline which is between the episodes 3 and 4, and being darth vaders apprentice is fun and scary, love using the dark side of the force it's fun doing alot of damage with the lightsaber and destroying the AT-ST assult walkers and fighing the imperial troopers, gotta say I'm addicted to this game _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.
