Update:

Herts PCT has no record of me. I just spoke to them.

The psychiatrist has confirmed with them twice, including today, that Herts PCT has told them I am registered somewhere in Herts.

What I believe to be my GP is closed for the afternoon. I'll contact them again tomorrow.

And the GP I went to today started balking at the idea of registering me, because I have no standing bills (besides a mobile phone) to demonstrate an address with. They suggested I register at the same GP as my mum, which i absolutely will not do, as I know they have in the past discussed my medical details with her.

I'll be back on Tuesday, hopefully they will be more reasonable.

So today I went to see my new GP.

Showed him a ream of letters from various docs I've been seeing, give him the full history, said I wanted to get referred to a psychiatrist and get blood tests done for Klinefelters.

He said yes to both.

Sounds like you've got a decent GP now. From other posts on here, they seem rare but it's great when you find one Smile

Dunno why, but I'm really feeling like crap today.

I *used to* have an anti-depressant prescription, but my psych refused to refill it last time I saw him, which was way too long ago now. Sure, it was only a low dose, and I only had it for a couple of weeks, but I do think it made a difference.

Just the whole day I just couldn't feel motivated to do anything. And yes, I know it's a waste of a day, which just makes me hate myself even more. I'm normally pretty good about at least *wanting* to get something done each day, but today there just wasn't anything at all.

Update on NHS: On Saturday, I received a letter inviting me to make an appointment with my local shrink.

I'm now back where I was 9 month ago. bleh.

Even better... they initially offered me an appointment for late next month, 6 weeks away. Then they called me back to offer me a different time slot late this week.

Tomorrow I'm going to go look at a houseshare. Normally, I'd run a mile from anything that involves sharing a house. But I have it on good authority that this particular household is gayer than Paris in the spring.

I'm also going to visit a school about an I.T. course, which should lead to bigbux(tm).

It's little things that make you feel good.

Today, I was shown how to use the intercom for the front door of the office where I work. It's right next to my desk, and it was weird studiously ignoring it while my seniors would come over to answer it. So now it's been added to my duties.

First time I answered it, I was like, hello, and then buzzed him in and went downstairs to meet the guy in the foyer. Once there, I asked him if I could help. he was like, no thanks, the young lady I spoke to on the intercom is coming down.

So I just discovered that the temp job I have, which I thought was likely to end in a week or two, is slated to last probably another two months.

Normally, this would be good news.

I had planned to move out and start a computer course more of less at the same time the temp job ends. Now I'm faced with a dilemma. Do I delay my plans and collect the extra pay, or do I keep to my original schedule?
