Definitely. I'm happy to say I have a couple of those. We have the "no matter what" between us and that makes us all happy.

As for me, it was different for everyone I told. I came out to my mom just like that - she needed time to settle down with it but now she's ok with the whole thing. About my friends - yeah as soon as I realised I could talk to them on the subject, I did it. They took it all way too well! Smile Of course there always will be people who will have a problem with it. Got some "friends" like that, if friends is what they should be called. In general, it was good, though.

Hello there people!
This really seams like a helpful site!

I admire your courage, comming out.
I, myself, am only out to a few close (women) friends and my sister (she is sensitive to lgbt matters, on her own account).
I havn't dared talk to any men, though...
Parents and familly is almost unthinkable... Confused
Don''t want to discourage anybody, of course. The thing is, I always attributed this extra difficulty to my living in the Balkans, which are supposed to be very TG unfriendly Mad
However, seeing here, someone who's coming out in, neighbouring, Macedonia, makes me question my way of thinking (and acting...) Embarassed
Well, my best wishes to you all!

Well, not that it's easy - I'm being honest - cuz everyone of us has to go through a hard time in a certain period of the transition. Society can really be a junkyard sometimes. And that's the time when we have to press our teeth together and fight for our own identity. It's about our own lives, anyway, not the lives of other people. We need to stay tough, cuz freedom is near.
Anyways, nice to meet you Irini Smile

Well, indeed I have, Sophie Grace! Smile

Pleased to meet you, too, Razor! Smile

I can not, as yet, say if freedom is near for me, but it pleases me to see that is it is near for other sisters and brothers in the same "fate"...
...and I just hope that whatever any of us might do, now, however petty it might seem, will bring freedom a little nearer for the next generation!
That gives me a sense of "purpose" and commitment!

Thank you all! Keep beeing tough.
Cheerioh Smile

Went terribly wrong, when I came out to my family, they all abandoned me, every single one of them, on May 5th 2006.
