I tried one on my legs. They just seemed to prickle a little to me. _________________ I look back at most of my life and think "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!??"

I have one too, A Braun "silk epil xelle 5285" (blue one), I wouldn't say it was painful, it just feels horrible..... Worth it though _________________ Most of the time, most people do what most people do most of the time.

Well, in the end I went for a Braun silk epil xpressive, better known as the top-end model. Worth it though.
And... it hurts. Almost as bad as laser. But worth it to finally get hair free legs and arms without stubble after a day or three.
Aside from get very drunk beforehand, any advice on doing chest and/or belly areas? _________________ The boobs are just a set of metaphors.

No chance of an eppy going near my face (unless I'm very drunk). I've found another nice young lady armed with a laser cannon willing to shoot me in the face while I'm strapped down to a chair. And lasers don't do much on epilated skin. _________________ The boobs are just a set of metaphors.

All depends on what you attack with it.
They're OK on legs and it feels like nothing more than a load of angry ants. I wouldn't let anything like that near my face, though. _________________ If music be the food of love, stand by for a good rogering

i'd say, start off slow. maybe just do ten minutes a day or so, and build yourself up. after you've cleared the first lot, which is the worst, keep on using it every week or so, because it won't hurt anywhere near as much on what will be left then.
i bought mine about, ooooooh, four years ago. tried it twice, and then locked it in a cupboard and forgot about it, because GOD THE AGONY. recently, though, i've started using it again and i'm getting into the whole deal. _________________ "Throw yourself in the road darlings!
