So i didnt see a bug thread but ive been having a lot of problems with Tzone the last week. After viewing a thread takes a long time to close, long time to post response and i have had to redownload the tzone toolbar 5 times in two days. Sometimes takes a long time to load or says that Tzone not available could not connect to server etc. I use Mozilla Firefox 99 percent of the time. Just thought i would give a heads up in case there is a bug somewhere.

Hi Raquel, it's not T-zone, it is the host. Last weekend they were connecting new servers and it went wrong. During the week they found out they had a dodgy harddrive, so that ment more downtime. After that they were doing something called load balancing (Please don't ask me what that means Smile ). This morning (UK time) it was working super fast, but it seems to have slowed down again this everning Sad .
I don't know about the toolbar, but i guess it has something to do with the above Very Happy.
Here is the link to there support forum Very Happy .

Quick Update:

With the addition of the second web server this has taken a lot of the load off the first one, and everything is running really smooth.

We're just waiting for the data transfer on the second database server to finish so we can put that online as well.

It's going to be a few more hours --things may be a bit slow because we're only running off one database server-- but the end is near.

It has often been asked why our server has been suffering from such problems lately. Seeing as though we recieve on average 100 emails a day on the subject, we decieded that you deserved an explanation.
Somewhere in the UK there is a small ferret that runs around in a wheel. The wheel has a dynamo on it and powers the servers.
However, since Maggie Thatcher didnt beat off the unions in the 80's, that ferret is entitled to numerous breaks and a number of paid holidays every year, which the ferret gladly takes to preen it's fur and go jetting off to find more exotic grubs to eat.
Unfortunaly, this means that the server is left unpowered and forced to work at low effeciency off of what's stored in large capacitors.
Now, I'm sure you'll agree, this is very silly and there is no doubt more effecient ways to power servers. A fossil fueled solution was suggested but Greenpeace had the engineer shot for increasing emissions and peace protestors recruited an extra two hundred Al-Queda to ensure that the "evil oil" never leaves the Middle East.
The other possible solution involved recruiting an extra ferret. This was met with opposition from animal rights campaigners and although they dug up several deceased ferrets, it wasnt going to stop us. What did stop us however was when Health and Safety arrived and informed us that the cage was a workplace and missing four fire exits, two of each type of fire extinquisher and a First Aider. When all these had been installed, we realised that there was no way we could fit another ferret into the now very crowded cage.
So, the ferret shall work tirelessly on until either the Tories get back in power or his next break time, whichever comes first.
