finally.. no more thing in between my legs. life is normal.

i lived that female role for 12months to be able to have the surgery. now i am going to return to the male role. this was my only option to get the surgery, its done!!

i just read about the ftm pre ops on here and dont understand why anyone would want something hanging around down there.

Interesting...are you going to continue taking testosterone for a more male appearance? I have heard of a couple of people who have had vaginoplasties but retained their male persona.

They probably don't understand why you wouldn't want anything "hanging around down there". It's probably best if you don't understand it, just to appreciate that they do want it. I'm sure they'll give you the same respect in turn.

Possible, but I have actually seen a couple of instances of such a transition, including genetic females who remove breasts but go no further, or a transitioned MtF who sometimes retains the male persona.

no not really.... just was an experiance to see what the female gender in the real world was like. never planned to stay female for long. i am self employed so i work @ home with software programs. so it was a smooth shift.

i got it removed. My genitals and i plan to stay male.

this was what i needed to do to get the ok to to get srs

i think it should be by choice to have something removed, or not.
in the mornings i use to look in the mirror and think, why have this. its in the way. its wrong.

would a woman need to become a male to be approved for the surgery to remove breasts??

as far, as i know. thats a no..

its done and over with now. live is great!!

yes will be on a low amount to see how much i need to gain the prev. muscle, and not grow more boobs.

right now i barly fit into a 34B bra

34A is just right with most underwire bras. i think i will need to wear one for 4-5 months still so i feel like they are pointing out at people.

Well done for doing what you needed to do in order to get the go ahead for surgery. I completely agree that we should be able to decide what to do with our own bodies also, although given the way that many people will sue doctors at the first sign of trouble I'm not surprised that doctors in general won't perform this type of surgery.

As far as a woman needing to become male to be approved for surgery to remove breasts - as far as I know, breast removal is only carried out on women for medical reasons (cancer etc). Breast reduction may be carried out, but not removal. And of course, any woman can get a breast augmentation at the drop of a hat (provided they can afford it, that is) Wink

Well I've heard of women getting them removed but even then they had to go through therapy before the surgeon would agree to do it

Wow, really? Completely removed, without there being a medical need? I've never heard of that over here! An ex-colleague had been treated for breast cancer, and requested that she had a double mastectomy to minimise the risks of the cancer recurring, and had a hell of a job persuading them to do that - she got it in the end, but that's still what I'd refer to as a medical reason.

Maybe it's an American thing LOL

I do think it's silly though that anyone can go have them made bigger or made smaller but to get rid of them altogether requires therapy and crap...

I'd like to have a male chest and still live as female. That's kinda my dream right now.. I'm just not sure how having a male chest would make me appear to people. For example, would they all call me 'he'? and would I have to explain..? (in instances where I'd be topless. Like on the beach). etc...
But in 2 or so years, that's what I'd like. That's all I need to be complete, I think. Shame.. my nipple ring and chest tattoo might have to go... Rolling Eyes
