I started thinking about this today whilst I was getting dressed. Every time I get dressed in the morning the hanger straps on my top falls out and I end up having to fold them back behind my shoulders. It doesn't seem to matter what top I wear, whilst getting dressed the hanger straps always come out. Once I have spent a couple of minutes folding them right inside they do mostly stay there, sometimes I get home and look in the mirror and realise one has fallen out again, lol. I'm thinking of cutting them off, well apart from the ones I need.
So I wondered, how many of you cut off the hanger straps? _________________ Chrissy

I don't stand under the TG umbrella anymore, it's way too bitchy and crowded in there but it's sunny out here

I had some in my PJs, but I cut them out because they were annoying me.
Not that I need them, as the majority of my clothes appear to spend the vast majority of their time on my floor... maybe it's time to tidy?

I was pondering this question last week, I saw a woman in town shopping yesterday and she had a nice long black top, but one of those straps was just sticking out..... the way she leaned forward, tucked it back in then flicked her hair back was just SO cute/feminine that I remember thinking "I simply have to learn that!"
Anyway! I think they're kinda cute so im keeping mine

All of my hangers have a hook on them for the hanger tab. I have some tops that if I did not hang them this way, they would fall off the hanger. I always check to make sure any hanger tab is stuffed back into the garment after I have it on.

It's bordering on the Pythonesque, if you ask me. _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

I second Alan... floor space is a lot easier way to hang clothes, therefore no need for.. hang on, why do you need them anyway? you could just use hangers... or the floor. I'll get my coat... _________________ Creativity takes it's inspiration from the Tortured Soul

On the three dresses I still own, I actually got similarly annoyed, so I folded them back in, and got a needle, cotton and stitched it to the seam on the inside. Still hangs just fine, just need to put the hanger inside the dress now. _________________ "Life is about choices, the choices you make, the choices made for you, and the choices you make for others.
