Why not tell us a bit more about yourself? We're a very friendly bunch here, so I'm sure you'll soon feel at home. You could even start a blog in the My Story and Daily Blogs section if you like, and keep us all updated on how you're getting on

Welcome, welcome! I'm newish myself, so can confirm, we're all very nice peeps.
Dave though, seems to have a fetish for blogs. 
Anyway, good way to tell us about you, about how you're feeling, and can best be thought of in my opinion, not as a blog, but as a delayed chat. Get something off your chest, share info about yourself, and watch, you'll have lots of sympathetic ears all quoting similar experiences.
