speaking of names, do u think Elliott is an odd choice? its not very cool, but i chose it cos i felt funny about calling myself a name that i new other guys i knew have. like james or craig. sometimes i regret it, i could have picked harvey, i asked my parents what they would have been called if i was born male, and it was anthony, so thats my middle name. i dunno.. does Elliott brooker have a ring to it? might ask ppl to call me Eli for short

I like the name Elliott, and I think it suits you mate! I know a couple of other guys called Elliott, so it's not like it's completely unusual, but it's not as common as, say, John (or David! Wink)

That's not to say it's a BAD thing to have a more common name, obviously, but some people prefer not to Smile

Dave

Certainly does. Stick with it; it's distinctive. You won't meet another one in a hurry, either - Google returns 70 hits.

You probably won't meet any at all in the UK! Very Happy yournotme.com says there are currently no Elliott Brookers in the country, although I'm not sure how up-to-date the records are that they use, so there might be one or two by now.

There is nothing wrong with the name you have chosen, be proud of it.

Cool
