I'm going to get my hair and eyebrows done this weekend, do you have any suggestions.I need to be less lazy and wash my hair more often, as my mom says being lazy will only lower your self-confidence.

If you wash your hair less often, it's actually healthier for your hair. With hair past the shoulders, it only needs once a week if you can leave it that long without grease building up. Mine gets greasy as hell(blame male hormones) after 3 days so I tend to wash it then. Do whatever looks good in your opinion as far as washing your hair is concerned.

As for styles, salons tend to end up giving everyone styles that need straightened and *don't* work with curly hair. If you're okay with this then just go with it. If you want to maintain curly hair then say to them. Don't let them use thinning scissors(texturising shears). Since you're MtF, you might need that extra volume to balance your face or headshape. The best thing might be to tell them you're growing it and ask for something that will look good as it grows out. They could probably do something that will make it appear to be in a bob as it's still quite short.

Good luck Smile !

I don't stand under the TG umbrella anymore, it's way too bitchy and crowded in there but it's sunny out here Smile
