Well, it's that time again and we've been promised a good summer by the Met Office so I figured it was time to see if we can get another meet in Manchester. If anyones interested post in and suggest a date, I'd suggest July or August to give lots of preperation time.
I'll check out the Pride and Razzle dates so nothing clashes

Manchester Pride is 28th - 31st August, and Sparkle is 10th - 12th July.

I've already got a bunch of weekends where I'm doing stuff through the summer, but I'll check which ones I'm free and get back to you.

i am iles away from Manchester but i will be going to Stoke on Trent for a few weeks in the summer so should be able to pop accross to manchester pretty easily. have to be in london on the 18th august tho for my appointment at CX

How about Sat 16th August, since lots of people are now paid mid-month. Last week in July, first week in Aug are out for me (got Trishy up yaay).

We couldn't make it to the last one on Saturday 16th of August last year as it is the weekend we go to Cornwall. We have to have that week every year so I presume we won't be able to make it again on that date

Well we've been meeting in Manchester every 3 months or so for the last year or so. It's just a social get together, like friends meeting for a drink, although I actually don't drink. We usually meet up in Taurus, a bar on Canal street in Manchester's gay village. A lot of us usually turn up about 7 and just socialise until we want to go home. I think Taurus closes at about 2am and they serve food there too. It's really a great atmosphere there, a little loud when it gets late but a very safe place.

I should be coming to this one as I couldn't make the last one, it's all about money but hopefully I'll make it.

Mm well since I've been living in Girl Mode, up to now I've not ventured out in the Evenings.

That's due to my inability to successfully pass as girl.

My Face is very Much Masculine ie Jaw Line etc.

& I'm worried that I'll attract unwanted attention from Young Males who Out Drinking in the Evenings.

If it was like from Mid-Morning from say 11.00 am till 4-5.00pm then I'd feel more relaxed & confident / Safe.

Well, the people that visit the village in Manchester are very diverse. Dave and his partner are regulars at Taurus and could definitely vouch that it is a very safe place. I've been there a few times and I think it's very safe too. Some of the tzone members have been there as their first night out dressed as female and have felt very comfortable.

There are people of all kinds there and even if you didn't pass well I'm sure you wouldn't attract any bad attention. I can understand your fears but really I think you'd be fine. I'm sure others that have been will back me up on this.
