Hi Yukika,

I have had 7 laser treatments to my face, and I've lost somewhere between 50 - 70 % of my old awful thick black horid beard and moustache. I've still a long way to go to be totally facial hair free, possibly another 6/8 laser sessions, then finish it off with electrolysis.

As for London I'm not sure, but I found these on a google search, I hope you found my story useful and that you find the centre of your needs and pursel.

Also you could request it via your GP on the NHs if your PCT is understanding of TS issues.

Stephanie

The Body Smooth clinic in Argyll Street is popular with trans women, and I have used it myself.

Tip: You can now buy Emla cream* - the topical anaesthetic cream - over the counter in Boots and elsewhere, though you may have to order it. They allow you to bring your own Emla cream and cling film at Body Smooth, which makes for a big saving over what they would charge to supply it themselves.

* An ointment containing lignocaine (US: 'lidocaine') 2.5% and prilocaine 2.5%.
