I havn't watched it in years either. I don't know if it's changed but all our entries from England used to be really cheesy pop songs, it's not really a good impression of our musical culture although a lot of countries seemed to hate us and gang up on us with tactical voting, we have always been the weakest link in eurovision, lol when I used to watch it. Plus I find Terry Wogan quite irritating too. _________________ Chrissy

Yeah he annoys me too. Even his voice goes thru me.
I watched Employee of the month 2nite. I liked it. I thought that Vince was a gonk and I wanted to kick his head in sometimes Good film tho. First film ive watched with Jessica Simpson in, was weird seein her actin and bein all serious after watchin her on Newlyweds for the last couple of years.
My next dvd to hire is Butterfly effect 2. I didnt even see it bein advertised as in the cinema or id av gone to see it. Got a shock when I saw it on the shelf the other day in Blockbuster. Sadly they were all out. I absolutely love the first one. That is spot on for the kind of film I like. It was confusing at first but once you thought about it, it was really good. So im chompin at the bit to get the 2nd one.

The last GOOD movie I watched was "300". I'm a big fan of the fantasy genre as well as the historical. 300 was much closer to fantasy than history, it wasn't particularly accurate from that standpoint, and it was VERY bloody, but it was a great film, especially if you like fit men wearing not much more than a loincloth.
The most recent one I saw was Pathfinder, because that stars Karl Urban who's one of my favourite actors, and hello, he's wearing a loincloth too. It's also another pseudo-historical fantasy. This was okay, but not as good as 300, and certainly a poor choice for Karl to pick as an actor. The screenplay and the script was terrible, the director was insane, but the location and cinematography was breathtaking.
Next on my list, POTC3, because Jack Sparrow is God.

I love cartoons and I'm about to fill my afternoon with cartoons. But I love a dam good war film...as long as there are no broads in it to spoil the tension.
The last I watched BOND...JAMES...BOND.

I watched the Butterfly effect 2 last night. I thought it was a really good film. Granted its not as good as the first, but sequels often aren't. However it was good enough to keep me watchin all the way thru. I was thinkin afterwards how I would have changed things had I gone back (if I was him), knowin what he did after numerous trips back n forth I think I would have avoided such tragedys. But who knows.
Looks like there might be a 3rd you think?

Mike, sorry if I painted a bad picture of Butterfly effect 2, if I'd seen it without seeing the first one I would agree it was really good but I honestly think the first film was so much better. _________________ Chrissy

No you didnt paint it in a bad light hun. Your opinion is valued, I like talkin bout films whether they be good or bad .
I was with my sis earlier 2day and she found a trailer online for the Butterfly effect 3. From what I could tell number 3 is about the father from the 1st 1. We never got to find out about him in it, just that he could do the same as his son did and that he was in a mental hosp. I cant wait for it to come out.

Just a question about The Butterfly Effect. When it came out here (in Australia) all that was available was the Director's Cut which had a different ending than the cinematic version.
If you've seen both, which do you prefer? _________________ Every body is a book of blood;

Ive only seen the ending were he goes back into himself as an unborn baby and strangles himself with the unbilical (spelt wrong?) cord. What happened in the other ending?

Yeah that's the DVD ending - the Director's Cut.
In the other version they are at his birthday party, when he's younger and from memory I think it's where they first meet (the main guy and the main girl, can't remember names) and the guy whispers something to the girl and she runs off crying.
I think that's how it went, or am I mixing the both of them? _________________ Every body is a book of blood;

Just seen HOT FUZZ - the ending is hilarious X) _________________ Man [...] must count no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth."
