Went to see 21 at the cinema the other night - I really enjoyed it, even if it was a bit predictable at the end.
Hopefully we'll get to the cinema again later this week, there's a few films around that I'd like to see.

I went and saw IronMan last night with some friends was really looking forward to it and it didnt dissapoint. Robert Downey Jr played a great Tony Stark and the suit's looked awesome. As usual left well open for a sequal.

Just got a copy of Aliens vs Predator - Requiem. Not too bad, but still they is the feeling that it could have been better. Because i have seen all the aliens films soo many times that i'm now de-sensitised to them, but I really wanted to be just a little scared watching this, but never happened, so not really much point in watching it then apart from the action. oh and of course for the eye candy.

I watched Supersize me this morn. Its about a bloke (who's got a film coming out called where in the world is Osama bin laden or summit like that) he eats nothing but McDonalds for 30 days to see what effects it will have on his body. He and the doctors were getting a bit worried about half way thru, just shows ya what all that junk food can do to ya in short spaces of time.

I watched MEET THE ROBINSONS again. I bought it and haven't seen it since I watched it at the cinemas in 3D. I still love it. In my opinion it is one of the best animated films of all time... big call I know, but it is great.
Also saw INTO THE WILD with Emile Hirsch in it, the film directed by Sean Penn, and I thought it was pretty okay. I guess it helped that I am a fan of Emile Hirsch and Eddie Vedder provided the soundtrack.
Can't wait for Speed Racer! _________________ why so serious?

Last Exit to Brooklyn dir. Uli Edel 1989
I managed to find a DVD of this interpretation of Hubert Selby's 1964 novel - which was banned for obscenity in Britain, I recall.
Set against a background of violent industrial unrest and union corruption at a New York factory in the early 1950s, the film focuses on the experiences of marginalized figures, including trans and gay characters, whose lives become entangled with the strike.
All in all, a harrowing and powerful evocation of trans and gay life among the urban poor in the early post-war years.

What is it about Johnny Depp? My wife fancies him. I know this woman who claims to be 100% lesbian, and even she wants him! (then again, she might have told me she was 100% so I'd stop hitting on her...lol)

Yep. I know some straight guys who think he's the shit too!
He's just gorgeous. Let's leave it at that. Perfect for everyone.

I watched DEATHNOTE the other day. Anyone heard of it? It's a Japanese anime series that they turned into two feature length films, not anime.
They were really interesting. They did the death gods in CGI and even though it was a stark comparison to the people around them, I think it looked good.
Light Yagami finds the "Death Note," a notebook with the power to kill, and decides to create a Utopia by killing the world's criminals, and soon the world's greatest detective, "L," is hired to find the perpetrator. An all out battle between the greatest minds on earth begins, the winner controlling the world _________________ why so serious?

Last thing I saw in the cinema was Nim's Island.
I don't go and watch films very often, but Jodie Foster can usually be relied upon to be in a good film, so I went.
Didn't notice that Gerard Butler was playing 2 characters until I read the credits though; maybe I should've spent less time watching Ms Foster!

Iron Man heheheheh I'm a tech freak and I can't help it. Before that I watched Boys don't cry - finally got the guts to watch it - and some older sci-fi-s - like AvP. Love that one.
