I watched Cloverfield last night. Yvie's review ...... PIECE OF SHIT!.

There was no plot, the characters were lame and the whole premise of the film was rubbish. The camera work was especially awful and left me feeling dizzy.

The story is that some monsters arrive out of nowhere and tear up Manhattan . That was it. THUMBS DOWN. Mad

I watched Prom night and Teeth in the last week. Both in my opinion were poorly acted, rubbish plot line. Still tho I watched them to the end.

I thought Teeth was quite humerous tho. The idea of a woman that has teeth in her lady bits that bites off mens dicks and gynos fingers made me laugh. Sorry for spoiling it for anyone who hasnt watched it.

I also finally watched then 2nd half of P.s I love you. Not my usual sort of film but I thought it was good. Funny in bits, esp those with Lisa Kudrow (phoebe off Friends) in them. But a pretty good film, makes you have hope that true love is out there and is to be cherished.
I find it hard to watch anything with Hilary Swank in it tho without seeing her as Brandon Teena who she portrayed in Boys dont cry.

I am so so jealous, I really badly want to see that film, I think I am going to have to go by myself though Sad. I just have to see it on the big screen.

I just saw The Orphanage... very awesome indeed. It's only just out at the cinema here, but is released on DVD in the USA, so I bought myself a copy. Might go see it in the cinema as well, well worth it.

I am not really a ghost story kind of person, but this film was pretty creepy.

There where a few geeky jokes that you would get if you saw the orginal Hulk series, that made me laugh. Great film this, Iron man and possibly a Cap America Film should from what i have heard lead on to an Avengers film Should be Great lol

The last movie/film I saw was, Alvin and the Chipmunks Laughing I spent the early 90's watching them on childrens TV and loved them, so therefore I just had to watched the squeaky voiced chipmunks new film. I actually enjoyed it, some light hearted late night tv watching.

I've recently seen Bee Movie, War (Jason Statham - SEXY, and Jet Li [I think]), London, In the name of the King, a dungeon siege, The Bank Job, The Italian Job, Ghosts of Mars, Crank, Choas, Revolver, The Transporter 2, Turn it Up, Snatch, Lock Stock and two smoking barrels, and cellular (had a bit of a Jason Statham film fest lol), Hot Fuzz, High School Musical 1 & 2, Hairspray, Black Snake Moan, I Am Legend, I now Pronouce You Chuck and Larry, P.S. I love you, St. Trinians, and the Golden Compass.

Throughout the winter and dark early evenings I just spent my time alone watching films - oh dear I need to get out more Laughing

I went to the cinema by myself yesterday to watch the latest Indy film and I really enjoyed it. I do however think that it wasn't quite as a good plot wise as previous Indy films but the I thought the action sequences were awesome. It probably did have the balance between action and plot tipped a little too far towards action for my liking but it was very entertaining to watch and I think that's the most important thing, I certainly left with a smile Very Happy.

I did guess early on where the plot was going so the ending was no surprise to me. What was a surprise is how marvellous Harrison is still looking, I reckon he could do yet another one you know. Perhaps it would be cool to see Henry Jones the 3rd become an Indy type figure in a future film.

Also I noticed just now on the TV there was an ad for a documentary about the real legend of the crystal skulls, I didn't even realise the movie was based on a real legend.

Last film I watched at the cinema was Iron Man (a month or so ago now), which was just all kinds of awesome. Can't wait for it on DVD.

Robert Downey put in one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. I already want to see the sequel!
