Yeah I've heard of romper stomper, about the asian gangs in Melbourne and racial tension which is based on true events.
I was too young to know about it properly until I was told what it was all about when I was older, not my cuppa tea but if others like it no worries. _________________ Misery is my company, why do I stand out from the rest of the people around me.

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
Years of not having a telly or a having a cinema nearby means that I hadn't seen it before. I recorded it from Virgin 1 last night and watched it this afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyable.
(A slap to Virgin for having 6-7 minute ad breaks, though...) _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

Can't beat a good English gangster movie, Mike.
Last night, I caught Sherlock Holmes on ITV3 (I think), the Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle. Always a good story and I was delighted to see it adapted for the screen. True to the original; most of the dialogue was preserved.
Jeremy Brett plays the perfect Holmes; he even looks like Conan Doyle's description of the man. BBC radio have the full Holmes if you can find it and I believe that Brett has also completed the full works.
I must save my pennies and add that to my library. My Dad gave me the complete Sherlock Holmes in one volume, but it's inscribed and dedicated to my old name. I can't have it in the house. The new broom will sweep clean and I'll have Watson or Mrs Hudson send one of the lads for a suitable replacement. _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

Casablanca. Nothing on the box yesterday after the GP, so I dug it out of the archives. _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

Watched "Awake" last weekend.
My GF saw it before I had my chest surgery done but decided to hold off renting it until afterwards and I'm glad she did. It still made me feel nauseous post op. Not a bad film though... different.

The first two were really good, the third movie is set in china, with a powerful emperor who is cused as a statue that comes to life with a terracotta army, the battle scenes are really incredible, Kind of reminds me abit of Tomb Raider 2 - Daggar of xian with the scenery from the game.
There is a possibility of a 4th movie being made, but I'm not really sure yet if this will happen.

with the last of my dole i bought; Shrooms, Resident Evil:Extinction and Planet Terror.
Resident Evil was ace. Way better than the second one and on par with the first. plus i'm in love with milla jovovich.
Shrooms in my oppinion is a ace. typical cheap horror flick. I do like my cheesy violence.
Planet terror so far is pretty good. i'm not usually a fan of tarantino, but i could never dislike a zombie film.... _________________ jamie
