I just watched one thats in the cinema now called Taken. I watched it on my laptop. I thought it was brill. Best film ive watched since the Bourne films. It wasnt borin or slow at any point.
Deff one to watch.

I started watching the Mummy 3 a few weeks ago. I loved the last 2 so thought id like this one too. Wrong. I stopped watchin half way thru. I thought it was borin and predictable. Also not having Rachael Weis in it just didnt feel the same.

Im lookin 4ward to Saw V to come out in the pics on the 24th of this month. I'll be goin the pics to see that with my sis and her bf. I'd have to drag my gf there kickin and screamin and even then she'd run when we got in there Laughing Her limit is The little mermaid Laughing
Also ill be goin to see the new James Bond film on the 31st.

I watched One missed call yesterday. It didnt get the best reviews but I thought it was an ok film. Nothin fantastic, but watchable. I was confused at the end tho a bit. So if anyones seen it then do fill me in lol Im talkin bout the recent remake of it btw not the original Japanese version.

I can't be bothered going to the cinema, the last movies I went to see were Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr was so hot in it!!), and Sex & The City, which I loved, which is no surprise as as far as I'm concerned SATC can do no wrong!! Very Happy
I have watched a few movies online, such as One Missed Call, The Eye, Shutter and The Strangers, all of which I really enjoyed!! I also the latest DVDs I bought were, Sex & The City: The Movie, Cloverfield, Smoking Aces and What Happens in Vegas (I'm a huge Cameron Diaz fan!!) Very Happy

I haven't seen the lord of the rings for a long time so I had a good time watching it on DVD.

I watched In Bruges 2day. I liked it. Im not really sure what the whole point of the story was... was a good film but really didnt have that great of a plot. I thought the humour of Colin Farrells character was funny. Esp with the dwarf.

last night me and my cousin watched 2001 manics. Its a pretty low budget horror flick starring robert englund (freddy krueger). Considering the budget, the violence in very creative and executed perfectly. If you like deaths that haven't been done in film before, its definatly one to watch!!

I saw Burn After Reading. It's the Coen Brothers latest film. It's a bit slow-paced at first, but later in the film you get a sense of why they've paced it that way. The acting is brilliant. Frances McDormand is always great. And this is the first time I've seen Brad Pitt playing a total nerd. If you're a Coen Bros. fan you'll enjoy this. It's a lot lighter than No Country For Old Men. It's also a bit of a creeper. The more I think about the final line of the film, the funnier it gets. Not the Coen Brothers best, but another fine film from two of the greats.

Is that 2001 Manics, or Maniacs? I'm not taking the piss, I just want to look it up. I love creative low-budget horror flicks.

Im a big film buff so I thought id do a post about films. Thought id start with the last one we watched.

I bought Brokeback mountain the other day. Not one id usually watch but it got good reviews and won loads of awards so thought it maybe worth a watch.

I was pleasantly suprised. I really enjoyed it.

Actually that WAS the last file I have seen, jsut the other day in fact. Very good film.

I went to see Quantum of Solace. The action and pace were up to par. I heard people complaining that it was hard to follow. I thought it was pretty clear. I enjoyed it, but not as much as Casino Royale. The problem is that in their attempt to get real, and gritty (which they needed after the absurdity of the CGI and silliness of the last Brosnan outing) was a bit too real and gritty. Daniels' Bond spends a lot of time moping. It's a good action film, but somehow it doesn't feel like the real 007. Bond doesn't seem to be having any fun. I watch Bond films to imagine I'm him. To live in fantasy. This reality edge is a downer.

Aw, I'm off to see it tonight, and now I'm worried it's not going to be as good as I'm expecting it to be. Oh well, I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway! Very Happy

I watched an interview with him and the interviewer was sayin to him that it didnt feel like a bond film, cus of the lack of gadgets and style.
He replied that it may not have all the gadgets that people are used to in past bond films but the quantum of solice was a base line for the follow up film which will have all that.

I wanted to watch it but the fact that it doesnt seem to be a 'true bond film' has put me off.

Saw 5 was really good. I'd say this could probably be one of the best of the 5. None of them have really made me think jeepers id never do that but there was a scene for one of the traps that made me think just that. I said to my sister theres no way I could've done it lol
If you're a fan of the Saw films then this one doesnt disappoint.

As far as I'm aware, they're about the most graphic ways of forcing people to kill themselves. Am I right? =\

Hhhmm I wouldnt say its about forcing ppl to kill themselves.
The idea of each trap is to give that person the chance to save themselves and become better people. Each person taken and put in the trap has offended in some way or have spent their lives based on greed etc.

Each trap is designed to test that persons will. All the traps have a way out but they have to accept responsibility for thier actions and be willing to take some pain to be free.

All the films are very bloody and gory, but are brilliant. It does make you think 'how far are you willing to go to save yourself'
