I am currently sporting the mullet. I'm growing my hair. Planning for it to be mid way down my back eventually. But after growing it for just over a year (and the occasional tidy up to trim the dead ends) I'm currently the proud owner of a trans woman mullet.

The trans mullet is resistive to hair spray, wax, and straighteners. Mid way through a night shift it decides to bounce out at the sides in a krusty the clown stylie!

In terms of blokes with long hair the Marilyn Manson goth/grunge look springs to mind.

I'm not exactly an expert on long hair, but from what I can see, guys tend to have their pony tails at the bottom of their heads, sort of at the nape of the neck, if that makes sense, rather than higher up their heads. Dunno what else makes it boyish though - I guess using a plain band rather than something with flowers or feathers or other decoration on

Agreed about that and about the metalhead look too. I had mine like that until a year ago. And this one works too:

Rastfarian locks, with beads and such.

Give your self side burns and who really cares.

Or just keep it under a cap and let the lower stick out. As we have different head and face shapes long/short hair can look good as well as not, so play about in the looking glass and see what you like best.

Cool

hi,im a cd atm,i wear my hair long in both modes,if i wear a pony tail, its teid with a plain narrow bandeither at the nape of my neck or half way up the back of my head,if you trim a few hairs so that they fall just in front of your ears you should get the illusion of short sideburns, when the hair goes up,dont brush it through, just smooth it out a bit by running it through a loose fist, try it out, hope it helps.
