Maybe I am just stuck on the whole grammatically correct thing. I mean "trans" kind of shows sign of some switching over which some people might not even do even if they seem to fall under that name.

yeah i kinda agree there.

i now dislike the term "transexual" with a passion. okay so there are much much worse terms but TS still isnt very accurate for me.

i mean "trans" implies changing from one thing to another. i aint changing, yet. seriously some dont, but they still fit the definition of "transexual."

as far as im concerned im an intersexed male, and always will be, just less severly intersex.

Well, I added a profile to that site. I'm Karen Lee there. I'm not sure I'd want to pick the trans option if it were presented to me, but it wasn't - I was only give the usual pointer/sitter choice for gender.

Go into your details/settings options under edit profile and the option will present itself, its only recently been added so still a few bugs perhaps.

I think there will always be a difference in opinions on terminology, for example: I don't consider myself in the least bit male and I don't see my genitalia to be the deciding factor. Therefore 'intersexed male' or any term that suggests male or masculinity doesn't suit me, no matter how much other people protest the usual "you have a penis therefore you are male" line. At the same time, i don't really see myself as female either, I certainly have female traits and have always had a femme figure, however I've never felt like I was female. Many transgendered people, including myself, feel like members of a third, unrecognized group of individuals, a third gender if you like. I don't even see it as a matter for science to prove or disprove, I don't think anyone has the right to argue against someones right to be acknowledged for who and what they feel they really are. The fact that there is not perhaps a 'correct' word to describe the gender to which many people including myself feel we belong to is an interesting one, but certainly does not make us any less entitled to at least a little recognition.
