I've been looking into this, the first post says starting at 7 in taurus, i could get into man picadilly for half 6 and walk over if i ca find my way.
Train fare's supprisingly cheap from stoke!
Only problem is if we're finishing late i cant really go bk to stoke in the wee hours of the morning and wake my friends i'll be staying with up to let me in.
Are there any cheap hotels, travel lodges, b&b or the like near by? _________________ 僕は男の人です

The Manchester conference centre at the University this morning had en-suite student rooms available for August 16th at under £35 per night. Email reservations@manchester.ac.uk for details.
Not knowing Manchester I don't know where the student halls are, but the conference centre is close to Piccadilly.

Only just saw your post Elliott, sorry lol
I should be ok finding it thanks mate. We'll be driving and prob wont be gettin there til 8ish as the gf doesnt get in from work til 6.30. She used to go on alot of nights out in the village before she met me so she knows where it is, she just hasnt heard of Taurus before lol So we should be ok, but thanks very much for the offer.
Cayden,
I searched online for hotels/B&Bs for you, but the cheapest one I could find was in the gay village itself, what looks to be a B&B above a pub type bistro and is £35 a night. Im guessing that may be a bit too much if your on a budget what with weighin up the how much its gunna cost for drinks and travel fare too. Sorry I couldnt be more help. Maybe Dave knows of a place, I dont really venture into Manchester all that much.

thanks for looking into it for me both of you.
What i failed to consider when i first read this thread is i have parents i can beg money off.
i'll look into it and see if my parents will pay.
I've looked at the menu for taurus and theres plenty on there i can eat n it doesnt cost more than most places round here for a main meal so thats okay. _________________ 僕は男の人です

If you can make it, it'd be great to meet you - but if not, maybe another time?

Looking into it i dont think i will be coming as without a job i dont feel comfortable putting a meal and a hotel stay into my budget.
Due to the new train tickets system my trip to stoke has come out costing more and then the price of eating for the week i'm up their n my parents have said that i should fund machester myself if i was to go as they're funding my week in stoke. _________________ 僕は男の人です
