So then, a blog… Even though this is my first online blog, I have been writing a diary for some time now (maybe a year or two!) but, when I read through the pages, it really is just a vast collection of moans and groans at ‘How my life really sucks’ or how ‘I hate my life’ and the best one yet would have to be, (drum roll!) ‘Why me’ I am more than sure a few people on this site have had the same feeling and maybe wrote about them in their diaries. But now, everything is going to change, the reason why ‘my life sucks’ is because of the negative statement it’s self. Well, not any more, they will be no place for those kind of comments in my diary any more! Positive will be the way of my life from now on! Very Happy
The reason why I am more positive is because of the person mentioned in the title to this blog, my Mum. I cannot believe how cool she is about my situation. As for long as I can remember she has always said ‘you can be anyone or do anything with your life, as long as your happy! (and not in jail!), (or become a politician!). And when I think about it, I think she also meant that I could become a woman and she would be sooo cool with it, as long as I was happy. Well since that fateful, drunken night I told her about me, my happiness has improved every single day, and hopefully will get even better in the next couple of years.

This is just how cool she is with me! But, first I must tell you, at the moment I am not in the best of shape, have almost every other day, I have facial hair (which I detest), and well, I think I kinda look like a male Russian shot putter, so that means ‘big and mean looking’ But last week I ordered some women’s clothes and shoes online and I showed them to my mum, and I though she would be a little taken back, but she wasn’t, she even liked some of the things I ordered! WOW and then I got changed in to some of the things I ordered and showed her, and again she seemed really pleased, I though she would do a runner! Rolling Eyes

WOW, what a woman, to me she is the greatest Mum in the would. Someone I work hard and strive to be like.

Bye for now.

I've certainly posted enough moans and groans in my blog in the past, probably more on the old forums than this one as things are getting better for me but my point is I don't think it's always bad to write about moans and groans. I think when things aren't going so good getting your feelings out can really help.

Talking about being positive, I have been feeling really positive about the arrival of the replacement to my broken cross-trainer exercise machine, the first one only lasted 10 mins after it’s assembly! So I was hoping that this new on would last a little longer, but it didn’t, I didn’t even complete the entire assemble when I noticed that the belt on this one had come off as well. Mad Mad I've already been on the phone to the 'Roger Black helpline' but its always engaged and so far i've had no reply to my emails to them, Grrr. Roger, if you do happen to read this, I think your products SUCK!

Oh well, looks like this one will be going back too. Evil or Very Mad

Hehe, we had problems with our first cross-trainer too.
It used to throw out a pile of shredded black rubber underneath. We got it replaced, and the new one does exactly the same. Confused

What is a cross-trainer? Is it like a treadmill?

This is the one I ordered from argos:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3354461/Trail/searchtext%3EROGER+BLACK.htm

I think they are great, kinda like between running on the spot and a stationary bike. They give you a really good workout... that is, if I can get one that will work for more than 10 minutes Evil or Very Mad

Grrrr. why the hell do I have to have dark hair. for the last couple of weeks i've been using Eflora / Vaniqa Cream twice daily and although the hair isnt growing as quicky, it still only takes around 5-10 hours before the stubble comes through, and worst of all i've started to get a lot of in-growing hairs. ouch.
So it looks like i'm going to have to stop using it, bit of a waiste of money (Mam said she might try to use it, even though I told her that her moustache of only visable for most of the day! not very happy with me Rolling Eyes )

Well the upside of dark hair is that laser treatment is effective on dark hairs and that's a lot cheaper than electrolysis. I have fair hair and so I won't be able to have laser treatment. I know that's not a very big upside but I thought it might cheer you a little.

I wouldn't worry bout your hair being dark, as the most recent posts backup for me, i have found that downsides often have up-sides that are sometimes hard to see.

Mum taught me that a while back and it has served me well.

I suppose that being dark might have some advantages, but, I’m finding it hard to keep up shaving everyday, it’s painful and it burns like hell.
Oh well, off for laser treatment I go. Rolling Eyes

“HUMAN EXPERIMENTING”

Nope, I’m not talking about about putting dog crap on my face to see if it will give me a better complexion, lol. I’m talking about a diet experiment. For some time now I’ve been trying a number of different diets to help me lose all, and I mean all, of my weight and most of my muscle mass. But on reflection none of them have worked. Even when I ate not a thing for 5 days, did I lose any weight? NOPE! And eating nothing but carbs left me feeling ill and my hair started to fall out even faster than it normally would. So they is only one diet left to try, the protein rich diet. Yes, I know that protein is the m2f’s worst enemy, but due to my nature of always giving something a try once, I will submit myself for this experiment. I will be consuming a protein drink for breakfast and lunch and then having a small mixed meal (carbs, fats and proteins) for dinner and nothing else for the next month. I know some of you will think it’s not a good plan but I am willing to give it a go and hopefully in the process, dispel some of the myths that protein is evil and shouldn’t be eaten.
Now for the worst part of all this, my starting stats: my weight as of this morning: 16st 7lbs (OMG) but because I’m 6’ 1” it doesn’t look so bad. (I hate being fat!!!)

One upside is, the protein drink is chocolate flavoured, mmmmm chocolate!

I will keep you up-dated,

Wish me luck, I think I will need it.

For weight loss, have you had a look at Paul McKenna's book? It's definitely worth a try...

No, for some reason I haven't tried anything from Paul McKenna and to tell the truth, i've never really thought about trying him. But, after a quick look on ebay, i've bought a copy of his book + CD and hopefully will be with me soon, thanks for the heads-up, dave Very Happy
