ok, just had the second T injection Smile for some reason not a scrap of pain beyond the initial prick of the needle. Much better than last time Very Happy

then they tried to take my blood, and failed twice before telling me to go to outpatients as they didn't think they could do it. weird thing was the second attempt hurt like hell the moment the needle started going into my arm, never had that happen before, still hurts now hours after it was done.

yey for impulse buying, got an email from play-asia saying they had a sale on, so of course i went straight to the site to see what they had.
Damn them, i'm now £10 worse off.

bought a DS game which comes with a special controller which works sort of like an optical mouse to controll the game.

now to hope we win a prize in hte prize draw for buying a sale item, chance of winning slim to none, but the prizes would be so worth it!

spent an evening socialising with a few friends last night and one of them somewhat drunk at the time suddenly turned to me and said
"you know what, i really respect you going through what you are, and to me you're a real guy"

felt really good.

This may sound nasty but let them say that when they do not have drink inside them.!

I under stand how that made you feel.

But I would repect them more if they repeated it sober.

Apart from that how are you doing? Have you noticed any changes yet??

Wink

And yet drink has a tendancy to bring out the truth, those things that people would say but are afraid to when sober

I've had plenty of folk say such things to me when we've all been in the pub a bit too long and whether I've been dry or drunk I perceive it to lack sincerity.

Some do bring out that which they might not otherwise say after a glass or two and it carries more conviction.

However it cheered you up, so cool...

I agree with Skyler - it's the sort of thing that people sometimes find hard to say, but with a few drinks, it loosens the tongue and makes it easier. I don't think they mean it any less because they'd had a few drinks when they said it at all!

I'm pleased for you Cayden, it's always good when friends say stuff like that Very Happy

I'm not sure if i've mentioned it before, but i get the feeling i need to buy a razor soon. my upperlip hair is slowly darkening since i started on T and now i'm starting to notice it more in the mirror, but admittedl i'm looking for it.
Always had facial hair but fine n pretty much white in colour.

But i know like nothing about shaving, whats a good razor to get, which shaving gel to use? how to actually shave?

I use Gillette - both razor and shaving gel. I was given it for Xmas, which is why I'm using it! It seems to do the job though, and the gel and after shave balm seem ok as well.

As for how to shave, I just kinda dampen my skin a bit, put the gel on, and then run the razor over it, rinsing the razor off regularly. Doesn't seem like rocket science particularly, but I've no idea if I'm doing it the best way. I guess it gets easier with practice though.

Congratulations Cayden! I'm always pleased when a trans person is elected onto an LGBT group - it makes sure that the T won't be forgotten about, and that it's not just been tacked on the end. Good luck in your new position, I'm sure you'll do a great job and that you'll have a lot of fun at the same time!
