I have a couple of photos on my laptop but they are tiny so I was wondering if any of you know how to make them bigger and clearer? When I zoom into them on laptop the pixels go mental so I cant see anything.

Is there a site or summit that enlarges pics and removes pixel distortion?

Cheers

It depends on their size of the image hun, if their any smaller (width or height) than 500 pixels, then there really isnt much you can do to as theres not enough data to fill in the extra detail. if you wanna give it a go anyway, you could use either 'Photoshop' or 'Paintshop Pro' and use their anti-alaising filter's to remove blockyness, though make sure to enlarge the images first lol.

note, check the file extension, if your working with a "JPEG/JPG" file, you may loose quality anyway just by editing it, as its a lossy image format, and applies anti-alaising effects everytime you save anyway to remove details that maynot be desired.

Aimee.

I agree with Aimee on the lossy format. Png or Gif are the best bets, as they are both lossless.

I don't know about programs, but if you use the Gimp image editor, there is the option of scaling images bicubically. When resizing this is something this is a good thing, as it makes the image sharper and loses less detail.
