Subject : UK: More SOGIAG Recordings -- And a guide to the Gender Duty

A fresh batch of recorded presentations from the annual Department of
Health SOGIAG Stakeholders conference is now available to listen to
online or download. For the whole collection see:

http://www.pfc.org.uk/node/1028#sogiag

The new batch of recordings features Kate Schneider, co-chair of the
"Reducing Health Inequalities" workstream, followed by Christine
Trethowan, chair of "Inclusive Services". In a third recording Ruth Hunt
of Stonewall explains about the research that was launched this week,
comprising a major survey into the general health of women who have sex
with other women.

The Equal Opportunities Commission has also this week launched a new
guide about the Gender Equality Duty and what it means for Voluntary
organisations. This has been added to a collection of related documents
on the PFC web site at http://www.pfc.org.uk/node/234#inclusion. You can
also access the new guide directly at
http://www.pfc.org.uk/files/Voluntary_and_community_sector.pdf
