Some of you know me quite well from Second Life. Some from here... Some not at all I guess. Well, Ice Maiden just set up this part of the forum somewhat with me in mind since there don't seem to be any support groups nearby. So here goes...

I'm a very nervous 38 year old MtF. I'm more or less full time when at home on my own, but barely at all when out. I'm that scared, so I'd probably meet first in boy-mode. Maybe where I live has something to do with it. Welsh mining towns aren't known for their tollerance of anything out of the ordinary, unlike what you might see in (Little Britain). Maybe it's me creating barriers that aren't really there. My family (parents and siblings) are an issue too, they don't know, and wouldn't approve.

So. I live near Porth, about 20 miles or so North West of Cardiff, What I need I guess is a mentor or a big sister. I don't drive, just a provisional motorcycle licence, so travel more than a few miles is by public... eww.

I'm 19, FTM, and from September 2007 I'll be living in Cardiff with my girlfriend. I'm big on sci-fi, fantasy books, shows, films, anything like that. I'm taking Ancient History at Cardiff Uni. I guess I'm like everyone when I met people, a bit shy and hesitant, but I'm open and pretty much the same to everyone- collegues, fellow students, family.
