BURNS SWAPS PARTNER IN REALITY SHOW

Former DEAD OR ALIVE singer PETE BURNS has 'swapped' his partner MICHAEL SIMPSON for a former soccer star - just one month after the pair exchanged vows in a civil ceremony (07Jul07). Burns moved in with heterosexual sportsman Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and his seven-month-old daughter for a special edition of British reality show Celebrity Wife Swap. And despite the huge differences between the sports hardman and transvestite singer, Ruddock reveals the unlikely couple did find some common ground. He says, "He's a geezer (man) too - but the difference is he wears thongs and dresses like a bird (woman)." The programme is scheduled to air later this year (07).
