RATNER'S TRANSVESTITE EXPERIENCE
Director BRETT RATNER has confessed he based a scene in his upcoming movie RUSH HOUR 3 on a sexual encounter he once had with a transvestite. The filmmaker claims a scene where Chris Tucker's character Detective James Carter is romantically duped by a man was inspired by a past conquest. He tells New York gossip column PageSix, "That's from my personal experience. My first (oral sex) was from a man, but I didn't know it was a man... I'm not homophobic or uptight about it. That happens to a lot of heterosexuals. You meet a girl in a bar, and it turns out she's not a girl."

Man [...] must count no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth." (Jean Paul Sartre, 1943)
