I use voice on SL. I always hate my voice and I am never happy with it. But I am a DJ on SL and I chat on SL and all my SL friends do not know I am TG.

So I am just thankful that it has not been my give away. There is no real reason my friends in sl do not know, I have just never told them.

But from what I have heard from other players. If somone does not chat, they say you must be a TS or TV anyways, so unless your voice is realy bad it would be better to chat I think.

One tip I will have learnt is to spend some money on a good pro headset. Most cheap headsets and mics have a little dynamic range and this makes you sound more bassy than you realy are. I mic with a good range will make it easer.

Just my pennys worth and probly not even worth that. HeHe Smile

For those who are interested, one of my close friends in SL is a sales rep for a voice changing program, and it has pretty impressive results within SL.

Who would be interested in me arranging for her to do a demo within SL so you can hear the results? (and yeah, she does receive a comission off sales.)

I always chat on SL

I don't know why but I can hardly hear what people are saying when they use voice chat in SL. My volume is right up, I have it set to hear voice from camera position and i zoom right in and still it is ridiculously quiet Rolling Eyes
