REBECCA ROMIJN was so determined to convincingly play a man wearing women's shoes for the first time, she made her new husband JERRY O'CONNELL try on a pair of high-heels. In an upcoming episode of TV hit Ugly Betty, in which Romijn plays a transsexual, her formerly-male character suffers a memory loss that makes her forget how to wear women's shoes. Romijn says, "I had to relearn how to walk in high-heels and I needed to know what a man who's never walked in high-heels looked like. So I made Jerry walk in high-heels the night before I shot (those scenes)."
