Hi peeps,

I'm doing research for a major piece at college and my topic is sexism. I'm really interested in the prejudice that transsexuals/transgenders go through at work. Non T/S people are to quick to complain that there boss is a chauvinistic *$!# but thats with being a T/S

Does anyone have any tales to tell or anything to contribute?

Our news section contains dozens and dozens of discrimination cases from all walks of life, the successes and failures of anti-discrimination cases, and many examples of discrimination in its worst form - violence and murder.

This will give you a better over-view of our situation than any individual first-person narrative you might obtain here for your 'project.'

Hardly a week goes by on this forum without someone of unknown bona fides logging in for the first time and wanting to make a project or media event out of us. Some of these are transparent frauds, whilst others have motivations very different to the ones claimed.

You are an unknown quantity, so I would suggest you made a thorough study of the news section before attempting anything further.
