i thought it best to introduce myself to everybody so hi everybody, im alistair (ally for short) im 20 and i live in west lothian.
i'm new on the forums and im jus looking for some advice on where i go from here....so far i've actually begun quite alot in my transition, i paid out to see Dr Curtis in london and im due back to see him again in the next month (that is if i can manage to raise the funds for the trip), i've now been living fulltime for 3 months so im hoping that my next visit to him will lead to hormones, i've had my baselines done by my GP so it's all good on that front. i've also legally changed my name and informed everyone that needs to know about it. i'm due to see a psychiatrist in the next week which i was referred to by my GP, not exactly sure where thats gonna lead me but really what im saying is that im feeling kinda stuck. living full time is going well for me, it seems so 'easy' and i didn't predict it being like this. not that i'm complaining about it but it leaves me wondering is there more i could or should be doing, i'm kinda getting impatient with all the waitin you have to do but its clear from reading the posts here that waiting is very much a part of transition. fingers crossed i get to london soon. really is there anybody with any wise words that maybe point me in the direction of something else i could be doing to get further down the track with this?
many thanks in advance
ally
