No script is the first thing i install Smile

Many adfarms now use keywords as a means of mass advert targetting - its a shame that when we first chose freeforums its main attraction was - ABSOLUTLEY NO ADS

now they are just like all the rest and seem to have gone bonkers lately - but its a pain restarting and this is now established - but enough already - the text adds can be removed by using no scipt - perfect

download firefox free
then install the FREE NOSCRIPT extension - then you chose what sites and what content you want to view

PS Ads can be removed but its not cheap Razz

As Sam says, I too have found the free NoScript Firefox extension invaluable, as it completely cleans up the page and makes my very modest computer run faster by not being burdened with the processing of all those advertisement scripts.

It permanently stops just about everything including the intrusive Kontera Context links, and also protects against certain types of malicious attacks and hacks.

I understand now. That makes sense. It's a shame but it seems to be the nature of the net these days.

I use noscript, adblock plus and flashblock. Winning combo that.

, I swear by adblock plus, it's quite configurable and you can block other things that aren't even ads too.
