I played that game -all- the time. Who do you play as? I have a thing for the Imperial Guard, though when I want stress relief, I'd use the necrons. nothing like an invulnerable army of slow moving doom massacring all who come before them for cheap laughs.

Dark Crusade rules, although I still haven't got round to playing SoulStorm.

I love the balance in DoW, all of the races are pretty even, It all depends on playstyle.

I'm best with the Space Marines, as I'm a master with deep striking. Imperial Guard however are my fave to play with, as I'm defensive minded when it comes to strategy.

Eldar and Tau are also good fun. I love the Firewarrior squads.

now last game i played was super crazy guitar maniac deluxe 2. similar to guitar hero, but on the comp. tiz a cracker but all the songs are naff

I'm not picking up soulstorm as I have grown disappointed with the balance and the lack of plot in the 2 most recent Dawn of War games. If they'd made the campaign map more like medieval 2s, or Rome:TW to compensate, they might've been on to something. As it stands, I still love the online multiplayer side of things, but not willing to put any more cash into it til I see how DoW 2 pans out. the CG cinematic was cool (ESPECIALLY the dreadnaught) but I can hardly judge a game on a trailer that doesn't even show the game.

I have soul storm, the campaigne mode is very different from the other DOW games which you can choose the missions you want to play and it has a way of having to take over other territories and planets which you have to lead your army to dominate the galaxy.

However the good thing about this game is you have all the races from the older DOW games in one game itself and a few new ones included.

Although you will have to add on the older DOW games to play all the races on Multiplayer online, which I'm not intersted in online play that much.

Anyway Soul Storm is a game worth buying if you want all the entire races to play on campainge mode or skirmish mode.

yeah i love final fantasy too! next ones out 26th sept! its a three part story (3 gams in one world) and its actually got a heroine! very exciting, just love it! ive played them since i was 12 and completed fromk 7 onwards. did you know there also bringing out an updated graphics version of 7?.. it will be awesome, same story better graphics, so no more lego Cloud!

maybe i should stop playing these games.. i get way too excited!

and yes they are all in one game to buy no need for expansion packs or add ons for the races.

Yeah, that's the same campaign system as is on dark crusade, (the only difference being that it's not a single planet, but rather a system of them) I didn't like it. I preferred Winter Assaults, where you got to pick a side, and got missions that meshed together in a plot.

(plus, I already have the other 3, so I'd only be getting 2 extra races for my money Razz

still playing GTA4 im in a comp with my friend as to who can get the most achievements makes the game last longer lol. Have a back log of other games im a compulsive buyer Mass effect is one i liked the look of but just havent unwrapped it yet >.<

Have just got my pc back together after it being packed up for the last 2 months so money permiting im tempted to return to WOW even if it is for socialising lol.

lol okay, you got me there but still it's not too bad for my taste since I don't have dark crusade, I'm more into skirmish mode which you can choose what map to play in and pick what enemies I want to fight.

I like to customise my game abit.

Not sure if there is a map editor to use to make custom maps or not but I would be interested in doing that kind of thing. Wink
