A few years ago I used to work for a company that operated a vintage bi-plane so we got to go to a few airshows with that.
The best bit was the beer was 20p a pint!

I like your photo of the Vulcan. Haven't seen one flying in years. I know they've spent ages restoring this one.

Thanks
Yeh the vulcan is amazing, but very very noisy!
The week leading up to the public weekend mum n i spent many a day on a carpark roof near the airfield, great view but theres an annoying building in the way of the low passes of the planes.
We also spent an afternoon on our own roof as the back of the house has a section of flat roof which you can see much of the show from.
i've got another picture of the red arrows i've uploaded which i love for the contrast. Was a complete accident getting this photo
I call it Red Arrows +1 _________________ 僕は男の人です

No surprise there. I remember them from when they were still in active service. The one you saw is powered by four Rolls-Royce Olympus engines, the same as used in Concorde, hence the noise. _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

This bloody credit crunch is going to be the death of me.
Word from Sainsbury personnel office is:
Head office told my local sainsburies that they couldnt afford to fill the post i'd applied for so none of the applicants got the job.
I'm fucking sick of this!
If my friends aren't being layed off theyre being overworked to fill the gaps left by the people layed off. And if we don't currently have a job well society says fuck you.
And i cant even apply for job seekers because i'm in full time education. so this 4 month gap in the year is shit.
Not a clue what to do with no jobs available. _________________ 僕は男の人です

Awwwww,
Sorry to hear about that Cayden. I do feel that the credit crunch is the term being used a lot as a scape goat or an excuse for a lot of things recently.
The big supermarkets are greedy for profit which to appease their shareholders and ensure the big bosses get ridiculous pay rises. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some bright spark's idea to not fill the post and try to absorb the extra workload with the existing workforce. _________________ Chrissy

:'( I've gone n hurt my knee today.
I was fine when i got up, fine when i stood up from the sofa in the living room, fine walking down the hall and then in agony the moment i tried to go upstairs.
now my knee is agony, i cant walk right, cant climb stairs on it, cant bend it without agony though moving through the agony the movement of the joint seems to be okay.
Not got a clue what ive done to myself.
Gonna go to the doctors tomorrow if its still bad when i wake up and hopefully theyve got some idea. On a good note, ive spent so much of my life with bad knees i own my own crutches so if its bad i'm ok.
Just gonna be a bugger if its bad next week as i cant take the good painkillers when i have exams. _________________ 僕は男の人です

Hi Cayden
Sorry to hear about your knee. I wish I could let you have my physio appointment tomorrow. It's for my knee, funnily enough, which has now recovered.
I know your pain and you have my sympathy. I hope you don't have to wait months to get it sorted either... _________________ The Daily Turnout - King of the Throne Room

Awww, sorry to hear about your knee, hopefully the doctor can shed some light on what you have done to it. I really hope it doesn't cause you too many problems with your exams coming up. _________________ Chrissy

Thanks for the support
It is still bad today, woke up barely feeling it but its quickly worsening as i use it.
Got a doctors appt for tomorrow afternoon as my parents are out today so i cant get to the Dr today.
May bring out my crutches soon to take the weight off it.
Hopefully something can be done before i go back as from the experience with my wrist, if i get stuck trying to get help in stoke i'm screwed due to waiting lists n such.
Travelling home for treatment would probably be the better idea but i cant really afford to miss uni.
so fingers crossed theres nothing wrong with it n the dr will have it fixed tomorrow. _________________ 僕は男の人です

Sorry to hear about your knee Cayden, that sounds really painful mate I hope the doctor can sort something out for you, especially with your exams coming up. I always find it especially annoying when I hurt myself and have no idea what I've done!
