Once again, a religious person mentioned that she has trouble supporting my transition because she "Can't go against God's word" -- and I explain how they are basically doing nothing more than discouraging a necessary medical treatment - as transition is very often medically necessary for a transsexual.

Too often, prejudice is disguised as religious faith. Fortunately, not all religious people are like that. Some truly are motivated by faith rather than prejudice.
