Did anyone actually confirm their details with PayPal etc. and receive the free Linden Dollars?

I need to know - if people are getting along fine without having done this, I won't do it.

Also, I signed up using the alias Kenneth Rogers, and now it wants me to confirm my details and I can't change my name in the account, so I don't think it's going to work as my PayPal is under my legal name.

Please help - I'm stuck in the middle of registration and need your advice!

no you do not need paypal there are plenty of freebie shops and stores you can get body parts hair clothes and shoes in inc tatoos

you can earn money in the world so no you dont need a paypal account for basic membership thats all i have and i have raised over 2,000 dollars in a couple of weeks

they aint real dollars they are Local Lindens but they work the same xxx

In the picture in the Second Life snapsots thread, I noticed that:

1. One man was wearing a suit.
2. People had extra information above their names (e.g. transvestite)

How do you do these things. I mean, where can I get a suit from? I'd rather like to wear one on there lol And it would be nice to have an extra bit of information over my head

Thats a good place to start everything in there is free - you just right click and click pay or buy and it says you are about to buy AB or C for $0L

you click pay and you get it as you paid nothing its free get it

And the "extra information" is mostly group titles... most groups you join have one or more, depending on your membership level.
