Hi Alistair, and welcome to tzone!

Calm down! "Egg in the butt" isn't anything serious to worry about. It's just (as far as I'm aware anyway) referring to when you get a lump under the skin where the T has been injected - it disappears pretty quickly anyway. It might just be a bit sore or uncomfortable for a day or two.

Don't be scared about your first injection. Obviously, whether it hurts or not depends on a number of things, including whether the T has been warmed to body temperature, how relaxed your muscle is when it's injected, and the technique of the person giving the shot. My first one caused me a small amount of tenderness for a few days where the shot had been given, but none of the ones I've had since have caused me any discomfort at all. Anyway, even if it does cause a bit of discomfort, I'm sure all the guys here would agree that it's worth every second of it!

Dave

Needles hurt me, that's why I hate them. And I'm so dagg mad at hte nurse who drew blood from me friday. She did something and bruised where she put the needle. The first time I had the guts to watch and not flinch or anything, and I come out bruised. -_- I should've gotten another vial drawn and just went "no freaking way".

T's not going to be fun. But worth it, I really want to start that as soon as I possibly can.

T is injected into muscle though, so it doesn't hurt the way needles in veins hurt. I think the only time I get pain is when I do nick a vein on the way in.

Don't let all this talk put you off mate! I've been taking Sustanon injections for over 11 years now. In my experience the pain only lasts for a second. On rare occasions I've experienced a small, hard lump under the skin. This hurts a bit when you press against it, but only as much as any small bruise. And it does go away by the next time I take my injection, which would be two weeks later. Of course everyone's bodies are different. It's best to take it in the butt, if you'll excuse the expression Wink and I have a big fleshy one so that helps. But it's quite possible that you will find it to be no big deal. I was scared before my first couple of injections. But now it's second nature to me.
Actually my wife gives me my shot. Sometimes she gives it to me early in the morning, while I'm still in bed, and I can go right back to sleep after!
