When you join the tzone forums a few things happen

1. The first is you must supply a valid email account - preferably not a free account as they are subject to being used abusively and can become banned from time to time - IF YOU USE HOTMAIL, AOL OR YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILTER FOR YOUR EMAILS
Ensure if you use Hotmail (we prefer you use another email provider) that tzoneteam (at) aol.com is on your safe list - if TZT emails are blocked your account will be deactivated - as all bounced emails are sent to TZT sadly there is no way around this and we cant carry bounced emails - most bouncing occurs from 'watching topics' and being notified of private messages - if you use hotmail then please avoid notifications in your profile setings - THANKS

2. So if you use the email account that you internet service provider gives you - one that you pay for to access the internet - then this will probably be fine.

3. So you choose a nick name - do not use one that's offensive

4. Assuming that you find something you like that's not already in use you can then submit your application for review

5. During this time you should be sent an activation link to the email account you provided - this is called double opt in - to stop people joining other peoples email accounts

6. You copy and paste the link UNBROKEN (so its one long link) into your browser and click go or press enter and it should connect you to this forum

7. Then your application will be checked out and either accepted or denied - if you have followed the rules above then it should be accepted

8. Check back after a few days to see if you have been activated

If after 2 weeks you hear nothing and have done all of the above email tzoneteam (at) aol.com

and we will do it manually

9. Remember to always check your spam folders as sometimes these activation emails can be dumped by you without knowing

10. Images

Avatars must not exceed 100 x 100 pixels and should not be animated - it is distracting and can create a fussy and unreadable forums

images should not exceed 250 x 250 (preferably Smaller) if you wish to post more than one image please use hyper linked text to the images (urls) please do not post strings of multiple images - one then a list of links will suffice
